1975 Porsche 914 For Sale- 5000 MAKE OFFER |
Welcome to My Automotive Home Page I'm selling a 1975 Porsche 914 VIN 1D38841C010 with a 2.0 liter engine and 5-speed transmission. The car speedometer reads 93778 miles, but I can not guarantee the mileage due to its age. The 2.0 engine was rebuilt about 10,000 miles ago (the previous owner told me-have receipt from the rebuild) and has good compression (did not do the compression test) and does use some oil, but the engine is VERY STRONG and will be just fine to use for a long time. The 5-speed transmission shifts well. The parking brake does not work, but could work if the cables were lubricated and connected to the car. The rest of the mechanics are fine on the car. The interior is in good condition. The seats are nearly perfect and the dash has a couple cracks. The heater does not give off hot airwork, but the fan works. There is a cassette player, but it is not hooked up. The door panels have a couple rips and are bowed but they are useable. The back panel and console between the seats are in excellent condition. The carpet is new and in excellent condition. The car has delay wipers and an aftermarket steering wheel. The exterior is in good condition and the car looks SHARP! The car has been RECENTLY REPAINTED and looks good from 5-10 feet but there are some paint defects, escpecially on the back trunk and on the top of the passenger door near the mirror. There was a little body work done on the car at the bottom of the driver's side fender due to a small dent that is a little noticeable. Like I said, 5-10 feet back and it looks SHARP. The targa top was recently refinished and shines. The sail panel vinyl is excellent shape. The rubber bumpers on the front and rear have been recently refinished and also look nice. The exhaust has been painted as well. As for rust, there is some on the pick up point on the passenger side-this has been repaired but needs more work to make it perfect. The fix is good enough for the car to be driven as a daily driver-but the repair is not concourse. Rust has been professionally repaired on the floors and firewall . There is some rust underneath the battery (battery tray), but it is still very strong. The rubber seals on the car are in good condition and there are no leaks except in the back trunk (it does leak on hard rain storms). The mirrors on the car are aftermarket. The car has stock wheels with Michelin 175/70 R15 tires with about 5000 miles on them. The glass is in good condition. RECEIPTS: I have a total of over 5000 dollars in receipts for the engine rebuild, carburators, flywheel and clutch, rust repair, etc. I have done my best to describe the car. Buyer is to pay shipping costs, but may pick up the car. Questions: e-mail jkeith19@hotmail.com phone: given out by request Thanks. Jason. PICTURES
